It captures the complex dichotomy of the Oiran: the defiant pride and hidden grief concealed beneath the dazzling exterior. This profound emotional state is expressed through the deep crimson kimono—a burning flame in the dark—and the profile, which deliberately seeks the refuge of shadow.
