I am a Japanese female artist based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. I began creating AI art using Midjourney in 2025.

At the core of my creative work lies a quiet conviction that “beauty gives us hope, joy, and a reason to keep living.” My work is guided by two timeless themes: “love” and “blessing.”

Through each piece, I hope to convey joy and peace—that sense of “I’m glad to be alive”—to the viewer. I aspire to create works that encourage people to pause, gently turn inward, and return to their own quiet center.

Yakumo is a digital artist who conceptualizes a distinctive body of work titled Quiet Line through the medium of AI.

Yakumo’s creations do not aim to depict landscapes as mere subjects. Instead, they seek to give form to the pre-verbal sensations that manifest within nature—the moisture-laden air of the rain, light dissolving into the water's surface, clouds unfurling in the wind, and a horizon that bleeds into the sky, vanishing into the distance.

Quiet Line, characterized by irregular boundaries reminiscent of stained glass and colors that dissolve into the air, does not seek to explain or assert.

Here, sensation takes precedence over meaning, and empty space over definitive answers. The objective is not to portray the landscape itself, but to capture the atmosphere and the lingering presence of time drifting just beneath the surface.
