This artwork blends traditional motifs—the fox mask (kitsune mask) and kimono—with contemporary expressions of pale moonlight and a glow emanating from within.

Just as Vermeer depicted human emotions using light cast from the outside, this piece expresses unutterable feelings through a light that permeates from deep inside.
