●Artwork Introduction

This artwork is a temple symbolizing the "light of wisdom" and the "mirror of the soul" that reside within each person. The light reflected on the still water represents a mirror reflecting one's inner self, and the pillar of light pouring down from the heavens symbolizes the invisible connection between the universe and humanity.

 

For many years, I have expressed the idea that a person's reality is a mirror reflecting their inner consciousness through the theme of "The Seven Mirrors of Happiness." This artwork, too, is a temple born from that worldview. While drawing inspiration from Japanese shrines and Japanese aesthetics, it is depicted as a universal space of prayer that transcends the past, future, and national borders. The light at the back of the temple is an entrance to returning to one's true self.

 

Through this artwork, I hope that viewers will encounter their inner wisdom in tranquility and experience a moment of returning to the center of their hearts.
